Key Activities

• Conduct field assessment of the villages and recruitment of existing or new Village Malaria Worker (VMWs) (150 strata 3 villages)
• Training of VMWs on malaria case management, data collection, reporting, stock management including Integrated Community Case Management (ICCM)
• Conduct Mobile Community Outreach for IEC/BCC and Testing (Test & Treat) activity beyond the villages to target hard to reach population
• Conduct supervision and monitoring visit by Lao PHA Provincial Coordinator to districts and Village Malaria Workers (VMWs)
• Conduct 6 monthly monitoring and supervision visits from provincial and district health office team
• Develop IEC/BCC support materials
• Conduct Bi-Annual planning and review meeting
