Key Activities

• LLINs distribution _ Mass and Continuous distribution of LLINs will be carried-out through the ICMVs network and implementation partner in order to address any LLIN attrition in between mass distributions, other risk groups like farming communities, forest goers, construction workers, gold mines workers, new settlements etc.,.
• Case Management _ through Integrated Community Malaria Volunteers.
• Active Case Detection and Investigation Carry out the active case detection and treatment as well as health education in the transit points for mobile and migrant population such as bus top, IDP camp, etc.,.
• Capacity building _ Training to ICMVs/malaria volunteers)
• M & E _ Supportive supervision to volunteers through monthly/quarterly meetings at health facility level.
• Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization _ Promoting BCC on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of transmission of malaria through HE sessions/health talk and IEC materials, strengthening of EHOs and CSOs and larval control measures through, ICMVs, EHOs and CSOs.
