Regional Artemisinin Initiative 4 Elimination (RAI4E)
Key Activities
1. To provide technical guidance and advice to the national malaria control program, the principal recipient of the GF grant, and other sub-recipients of the GF grant in burden reduction, phased elimination, and prevention of re-establishment (POR) of malaria transmission in the country.
2. Under the guidance and supervision of the WHO representative in Cambodia, the incumbent will perform the following duties and responsibilities
3. Collaborate with and provide advice and technical assistance to the Government of Cambodia to move towards eliminating all forms of human malaria and reaching zero indigenous cases in 2026, POR, and preparation for WHO validation and certification of malaria-free status.
4. Provide advice and technical support to Government counterparts and partners in the development of appropriate policies, strategies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in all aspects of program planning, organization, monitoring the implementations, intensified surveillance, and scale-up and evaluation of activities for elimination and POR of malaria in Cambodia.
5. Support to NMCP for implementation of the overall national malaria elimination efforts.
6. Support to NMCP and PR- GF RAI 4E for implementation of the GF funded activities
7. Support to Other Sub-recipients of GF-RAI4E
