Intensify malaria case detection and management through integrated community case management, community outreach, community advocacy, community system strengthening and linkages to contribute to RAI target and step forwards to the elimination of malaria in Lao PDR by 2030
Key Activities
• Target village mapping/ Village Malaria Worker (VMW) identification and selection (150 strata 3 villages)
• In house capacity building on project planning, implementation and M&E for PEDA provincial coordinators
• Conduct community leader advocacy and mobilization workshop
• Training of VMW for integrated community case management
• Conduct supervision and support visit to VMW by project staff
• Conduct Mobile community outreach and testing (Test & Treat)
• Conduct annual review, local coordination and partnership meeting with project stake holders
• Provide Medical supply package for VMW for Integrated Community Case Management (ICCM)
• IEC printing and distribution
• Monitoring and supervision visit by PEDA central level, including attendance of meeting/ training organized by PEDA/ and other partners under RAI
