Key Activities

1. Support NMPs to develop data review checklists and train central, provincial, and district staff on the use of review templates/dashboards and additional data analysis (including data extraction, interpretation, and presentation). Develop a systematic mechanism for documenting and tracking action items resulting from data reviews.
2. Work with NMPs, WHO, consultants, partners, and CSOs to develop intervention packages, commodity forecasts, and budgets for the next Global Fund funding cycle. Funding requests are technically aligned with WHO guidelines for malaria elimination and focus on maintaining elimination gains through the sustainability of malaria services.
3. Assist NMPs to enhance existing dashboards for case investigation, foci investigation, and response (CIFIR), including interactive mapping functions that link cases to foci. Design mockups and assist NMPs in integrating feedback from end-users into dashboard updates.
4. Work with WHO (lead) and NMPs to develop Prevention of Reestablishment (POR) strategies and protocols, incorporating lessons learned in the field. Support NMPs to train relevant MoH staff, CSOs, and community networks on POR protocols.
5. Support NMPs, WHO, and partners to conduct inclusive malaria program reviews (MPRs) of 2021-2025 national malaria strategic plans (NSPs). Use MPR findings to inform the creation of new NSPs 2026-2030.
6. Work with NMPs to curate new/update existing master lists, with the goal of having health facilities, administrative boundaries, CHWs, and CSO-providers mapped in national information systems. Support MoH staff to use master lists for programmatic decision-making and establish routine mechanisms for updating lists.
