Key Activities
1. Malaria and resistance surveillance focuses on ensuring that decision makers have access to timely, quality data to guide the RAI at the national and regional level;
2. Provide oversight and support for therapeutic efficacy studies (TES) and integrated drug efficacy surveillance (iDES);
3. Genomic surveillance/Molecular markers: Conduct complementary genomic surveillance of resistance markers in the parasite and HRP2 deletions;
4. Provide guidance and training on both elimination, certification and prevention of re-establishment, including data and documentation requirements;
