Sixth meeting of the RAI Regional Steering Committee, Hanoi

The RAI RSC held its sixth meeting in Hanoi, Viet Nam on 19 November 2015. The discussions focused primarily on the outcomes of the recent independent review of the RAI; members and partners engaged intensively around the review findings and recommendations, and defined a number of actions for the way forward. The review report and next steps will be disseminated and discussed with country-level partners in the coming weeks.

The RSC meeting was followed on 20 November by a one-day meeting convened by the Asia Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance (APLMA), gathering representatives from national malaria programmes, WHO, the Global Fund, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, bilateral and multilateral partners, and other key stakeholders in the fight against malaria in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS). The meeting created an opportunity for partners to go beyond the RAI discussions and take a strategic forward look for the region.
