The RAI Regional Steering Committee held its seventh meeting in Bangkok on 11 May 2016 as part of the joint Malaria Week. Discussions focused on reviewing the progress of the RAI program implementation, following up on key recommendations from the 2015 Independent Review, and the planning of activities in 2016 and 2017.

The RSC also started formulating plans to develop a new Global Fund Concept Note to fund an additional 3-year cycle for the Greater Mekong Subregion (2018-2020), a process through which RSC will be engaging with malaria stakeholders and partners at all levels.
